The HET Typhoon 700 Series brushless motors are engineered for high-performance electric ducted fan (EDF) systems requiring maximum thrust and efficiency. This motor series is fully compatible with the Jetfan, Schübeler, and HET 9305-700 EDF fan units, making it an ideal upgrade for advanced RC jet setups. Please note: the HET Typhoon 700 Series motors are not compatible with the WeMoTec Midi Fan or the standard HET 9305 fan unit.

Motor Operating Warning and Setup Guidelines

Operating this brushless motor outside of the factory-recommended specifications may cause permanent damage to the motor, battery, or electronic speed controller (ESC) and may void the manufacturer’s warranty. For safe and reliable performance, all power system components must be installed and configured correctly.

We strongly recommend using a watt meter to measure voltage, current (amps), and wattage when setting up a new EDF or RC power system. If measured output exceeds the motor’s rated limits, adjust the ESC timing and throttle calibration to bring performance back within safe operating ranges.

High-voltage (HV) LiPo batteries are not recommended for this motor, as they operate at higher voltages than the motor is designed to handle and may lead to overheating or premature failure.

Following these setup guidelines helps ensure maximum efficiency, long motor life, and dependable performance in your electric ducted fan or RC aircraft system.
