The Hobbywing line of speed controls offers the latest technology, giving them an edge in reliability and performance for any aircraft application.  The Platinum series features DEO (Driving Efficiency Optimization) technology implemented in the esc, which provides multiple advantages over other speed controls.  A faster and smoother throttle response, which produces better stability and flexibility during flight.  It operates at higher efficiency, giving longer flight time.  The ESC will function at a lower temperature, which gives more reliable operation and the life span of the speed control.

The new design allows for the ESC to be more compact and lightweight, so the ESC can meet the demands of more aircraft. The ESC is redesigned with a double-sided heat sink with a side vent. The air can quickly pass through the inside of the ESC and cool the components more efficiently. This innovative air duct design is able to generate strong airflow on the entire ESC from the cooling, significantly improving the cooling capability.

Built-in anti-spark circuitry:  The built-in anti-spark circuitry effectively eliminates the electric spark generated during the connectors are plugged into a battery, and prolongs the life span of the connectors.

32-Bit Processor: The 32-bit Processor, combined with the best RPM accuracy algorithm, makes the ESC more powerful and more consistent, maximizing the RPM accuracy to enhance overall performance. Compared with the previous ESC, the RPM accuracy algorithm makes the ESC more powerful and more consistent. The adjustable constant speed sensitivity allows every pilot to easily find a setting that suits them personally.

Synchronous Rectification: The ESC has synchronous rectification driving efficiency optimization technology (DEO— Driving Efficiency Optimization, Active Freewheeling), which brings multiple advantages: Faster throttle response, enhanced flight stability, and flexibility. Higher driving efficiency and longer battery life span. Lower ESC temperature rise, longer ESC life.

Multiple Protection: It has multiple protection functions, including start-up protection, current protection, temperature protection, capacitor temperature protection, overload protection, throttle signal loss protection, and input voltage abnormality protection, to effectively prolong the lifespan of the ESC.
