Thunder RC Velocity Stack 30-50CC

A velocity stack smooths and accelerates incoming air as it enters a gas engine’s carburetor. This helps the engine breathe more efficiently.

What It Does:
• Smooths Airflow: The flared, trumpet-like shape eliminates sharp edges at the carburetor inlet. This reduces turbulence and changes rough, multi-directional air into a clean, laminar stream.
• Increases Air Velocity: By funneling wide, slow-moving ambient air into a narrower throat, it speeds up the airflow entering the engine’s venturi based on fluid dynamics.
• Reduces Spitback / Reversion: Two-stroke and small gas engines often push a small amount of the air-fuel mixture backward out of the carb during the intake and compression cycle. A velocity stack helps catch and contain this oscillating column of air, reducing fuel mess outside the carb.
• Improves Throttle Response: Because the air column is stabilized and moves with less resistance, the engine reacts faster when you snap the throttle open.
