E-Jets JETFAN-90 V3 90mm EDF Unit – High Speed, High Efficiency

The E-Jets JETFAN-90 V3 EDF is a next-generation 90mm electric ducted fan designed for maximum jet speed, efficiency, and realistic turbine-like sound. Developed from the proven JF-80 platform, the V3 features an increased Fan Swept Area (51.05 cm²) and redesigned low-resistance stator blades, delivering up to 5% more thrust with the same power input while improving cooling efficiency.

Designed for high-efflux speed and dynamic thrust, the JETFAN-90 V3 supports aggressive, wide-range flying styles. It is fully compatible with popular 36–40mm high-speed EDF motors, eliminating the need for specialty low-Kv motors. Matching heat sinks and stator support tubes ensures optimal motor stability and cooling across multiple motor sizes.

Hand-crafted in Austria, this 9-blade modular EDF features an all-carbon housing and carbon-filled rotor for strength, light weight, and durability. The fan was acoustically tuned to produce a smooth, turbine-like “whoosh, minimizing high-frequency noise for a realistic jet sound.

Unlike EDFs focused only on static thrust, the JETFAN-90 V3 excels at high airspeed performance with only slightly higher amp draw than standard 90mm fans—making it a powerful yet affordable upgrade for RC jet enthusiasts.
