Fan Jets USA Thrust Tube 50-90mm EDF’s

Description

Produce more thrust in your edf jet with the thrust tube from Fan Jets USA.  To get more performance out of an edf unit there should be a thrust tube to help streamline and compress the airflow.  Fan Jets USA offers this clear sheet to be used as a thrust tube on all edf jets from the 50 to 90mm edf size. The tube should have a 1/2 inch overlap on the edges. Clear packing tape can be used to tape the overlap and seal it from the airflow.

Set up:

Low rotor blade count edf (5-7 blade): The exhaust opening needs to be 75-80% of the diameter of the edf unit.

High rotor blade count edf (10-12 blade): The exhaust opening needs to be 85-90% of the diameter of the edf unit.

• Any more or less than this will result in loss of the thrust output.

• If a thrust tube needs to be longer than 20 inches, then a second tube needs to be purchased and then put end over end in the fuse of the jet.
