Schubeler DS-38-AXI 80mm Intake Ring

Schubeler has developed the intake ring to provide an efficient way to streamline the airflow into the fan unit.  This inlet lip is needed when the edf unit is in the open air to help streamline the airflow into the edf unit.  A reduction of 20% of thrust can be expected if an intake lip is not used.  If the edf unit is in a closed air intake system then the ring is not needed.

This intake ring is for the 80mm DS-38-AXI HDS edf unit.  It will also work with the E-Jets Jetfan 80mm Pro.
