When Alexander Lippisch, a famous German aircraft manufacturer, released this rocket-powered interceptor in 1941 it left Allied forces in surprise. With a top speed of 1,130 km/h (700 mph), the ME163 was unmatched for over a decade. But the Komet was not as useful in its intended role as an interceptor, and only about 370 were built.

The RBC ME-163 is a true bullet of an airplane.  This plane is capable of flying at 160 mph and fulfilling the need for speed. One of the most unusual aircraft during World War II. The ME-163 offers classic lines and ballistic flight speed. This plane flies extremely fast and is for the veteran RC flyer.

The RBC Kit ME-163 is one of the most unique aircraft in an era where jets were in their infancy of air power. This easy-to-build kit will create a great-looking aircraft that is easy to repair.  The RBC kit features a construction of balsa, plywood, and ABS plastic to make an easy-to-build/repair kit that has great flying characteristics. The kit contains all parts cnc cut including all wood to finish the ME-163. The ME-163 features a large top hatch for easy access to the battery and receiver area. The kit has a one-piece design. Designed to be bungee launched or with the included wheel carriage.  Wheels are not included in the kit.

Decals are not included in the kit.

If insurance is not purchased and the package is lost or damaged, the most that can be claimed with the USPS and awarded to the purchaser (shipment recipient) is $50.00.  Fan Jets USA is not responsible for reimbursing the purchaser the difference of an order of any amount.  Shipping charges are not included in an insurance claim per USPS guidelines.
