Schubeler DS-30-AXI Intake Ring

Schubeler has developed the intake ring to provide an efficient way to stream line the airflow into the fan unit.  This inlet lip is needed when the edf unit is in open air to help stream line the airflow into the edf unit.  A reduction of 20% of thrust can be expected if a intake lip is not used.  If the edf unit is in a closed air intake system then the ring is not needed.
