Vasyfan is a new revolutionary reality in the design of electric propulsion systems and electric ducted fans. The company in the province of Milan designs and manufactures fans for different brands and customized projects that represent an innovation in the experimental EDF sector.

Vasyfan was created in 2017 but boasts over 10 years of experience in the design and construction of propulsion systems and electric ducted fans. Engineering experience built up since 2010 allows Vasyfan professionals to guarantee efficient and reliable performance for any EDF project.
Since 2010, the company has been a leader in Italy for the design and construction of EDF, model making, and special applications. Thanks to over 10 years of experience, Vasyfan is dedicated to testing light and robust components for the production of efficient and eco-friendly propulsion systems.

Designed to run up to 12s, it is available in both non-powered and motorized versions. In particular, it is possible to mount motors from 6 to 10s liPo.

The 80mm fan, the latest working novelty with the engines Het, TP, Hacker, or similar class, completes the series of a wide, complete, and performing range. These engines are indeed interchangeable with each other always maintaining the highest levels of efficiency.
This peculiarity allows you to combine this fan with an engine that you may already have.

The Vasyfan offers the best in quality for an edf unit with full carbon fiber construction. It is an industry leader in lightweight yet very stiff edf unit which creates a very efficient and powerful propulsion unit.

Construction: The Vasyfan is tested with the engines mentioned above, and returns reliable and performing configurations. Numerous tests have been carried out in the construction and simulation phase to reach the aim of providing the highest levels of efficiency and quality. By efficiency Vasyfan means the low electrical absorption transferred in high thrust and speed of the jet; this is made possible by balancing optimum rotation speed and torque. The 10-blade rotor, thanks to its high efficiency despite the high centrifugal force over long-time use, was designed and built in a single block.
To ensure greater strength and lower weight, the rotor is not composed of individually glued vanes but it is a monoblock where everything is supported by a hub in Ergal milled with high-quality CNC machines precision.

Assembly Note: Use quality glue or adhesive tape to securely attach the intake lip and cone before starting the engine, otherwise one strong current of air depression could detach the lip and cause damage. When the motor is mounted, attention must be paid to the length screws that are not too long so that they do not touch the winding or other components. This can cause severe damage to the motor and controller. It is very important to shim the engine in 4 points with carbon ribs not on the diameter but on its length (in four or six points) to make it stay firmly locked in the carbon stator.
